He was born 25/1/1966 in "Krasnaya Sloboda", Azerbaijan. He has learned to play chess 14 years old after moving to Sumgaiti. In just one year, learning from his trainer Jury Emelevich Abdulaev, he has got the first category. In 1982 he has consistently won the championships of his school and his city, and also became the prize-winner of several tournaments and festivals. In 1989 he has graduated from the institute of physical culture and became the teacher at local chess school. He has left work as the trainer of first category due to known difficulties in the republic in the beginning of 90th years. After repatriation to Israel he lives in Netanya and plays in the first team of the club. He has shared 1-2 places in the first qualification tournament in Netanya and got the international rating of 2203.
