Israel Chess Championship 1/16 final 2005-2006

You are invited to participate in Israel Chess Championship 1/16 final 2005-2006. The tournament is predesignated for chess players with rating up to 1700. Chess players with rating above 1700 are allowed to participate hors concours, keeping the right to play in 1/8 final.

Event Location:

The Netanya Chess Club, Merkaz David, Chernyahovsky 12, Netanya.

Schedule:

The tournament will be held on sundays, 18:00. The first round is on the 6th of February.

System:

The tournament will be organized in groups, with a minimum of 6 players in a group.

Timing:

Hour and a half for the whole game to each player.

Price:

50 sheqalim. Every player has to have valid "member book" (pinkas mithare) for 2005, full or partial. Holders of partial books will pay special fee.

Prizes:

Cups for winners. According to the federation ruling, winners will get promotion to the 1/8 stage.
