Netanya Active Chess Championship 2005

You are invited to participate in Netanya championship in active chess of the year 2005.

The tournament will be held in Merkaz David, Chernyahovsky 12, Netanya.

Friday, the 29th of July 2005.

Schedule

Registration 8:30-9:30
round 1 - 9:30,
round 2 - 10:45,
round 3 - 12:00,
round 4 - 13:15,
round 5 - 14:30.
closing ceremony - 15:45.

Organization

The tournament will have 5 rounds, swiss system. All players will play together, but prizes will be given in two levels.
Level Alef - ratings above 1800.
Level Bet - ratings below 1800.
Every player has to have valid "member book" (pinkas mithare) for 2005, full or partial.

Time limits

25 minutes for whole game to each player (with digital timer - 20 minutes and 10 seconds per move).

Participation charges

50 sheqalim. Holders of partial books will pay special fee.

Prizes

65% of collected charges will be given to winners. (70% of prize fund in level Alef and 30% in level Bet).
Cups and special prizes.

The administration reserves the right to make changes.

After the closing ceremony Netanya chess players are invited to celebrate and after that to discuss and form teams for the next league season.
